2/17/2024 0 Comments Hyper bullet chessIt also doesn't help matters that for whatever reason, younger and less-mature players gravitate to hyperbullet, and seem to be just as capable in the mode. Of course it's not, and the existence of good hyperbullet players is not mutually exclusive to the existence of good bullet, blitz, or rapid players, but it's human nature to be threatened by species which possess a different sort of skillset, no matter how practical it is in our domain. These same players are often the ones participating in deep strategical and theoretical discussions on the forums, so when a hyperbullet player comes in and starts making a fuss about hyperbullet being a legitimate rating category, they take it as a threat to their elitist standing at the top of the ladder. Because of this, players who wouldn't normally be able to compete with the highest-rated players of a given format in any other time control may be better at the game than the titans of rapid, blitz, and to a lesser extent, bullet.Īnd because those same players who excel at other time controls aren't used to being beaten so often, and so badly, they have a hard time accepting that players exist who can be better than they are, regardless of the modality. Heavier focus on reaction time, pattern recognition, and of course, technical (internet, computer, mouse, etc.) specifications are what makes a player good at hyperbullet. Hyperbullet requires a different kind of skill from other time controls (yes, I will maintain that hyperbullet prowess is attained with skill, not luck). Tbh, everybody gets called noob and it's just a mild insult. It's not like this is something that is total bs, it's true for 95% of the 1500sġ900-2200 can premove, although some of them still flag quickly and don't make it to the endgame.Ģ300-2500 has literally no difference, everybody should be considered equal at this level unless they're a stupid targetter (ok sorry)Ģ600-2700 is kind of in the middle, you'd be a bit stupid to call them noobs.Ģ800-2900 is a fluctuating point for most 3000s and is me on a sugar rushģ000+ has been reached by like only 7 players, they might be tad overrated but you'd be really stupid to call them a noob. <1400 is someone who isn't going to get back up anytime soonġ500-1800 is "noob", you generally just assume they can't premove and that you can farm a +20 off of them after they flag. You're acting like it doesn't happen in every other time control lmfao, this has already been covered in another forum that I forgot the name of, so I'll just say what I have to say and get cancelled by random people Let me know if you have any other questions.I found out that some people call all 1500s noobs in 4PC HYPERBULLET and that they think they cannot do ANYTHING. You can use the same username and the same email address if you would like to do that. From there, we'll get you set up with your second-chance account. Our interest here is not to keep you off the site, but just to make sure that everyone on the site is playing fairly.Īgain, please reply to this email and let us know that you were losing the games deliberately and that you won't do so in the future. Please note that we do not grant third chances and hope for your understanding. I've reached out to the Fair Play team on your behalf and was told that if you write back and promise not to do this again, I'd be able to grant you the second-chance account. Were you aware of this rule? Please review our community policies: Players sometimes do this in order to win tournaments on a low-rated level. I am so sorry about any confusion! I looked into the situation and found that your account was closed by our Fair Play team because of "sandbagging" or the deliberate losing of games. Many people reported a warning, and 1 contacted support. In a club that specializes hyperbullet, we recently started doing 1 second arenas.
